"I would not recommend this insurance company. When we were purchasing a home we choose to go with this insurance agency. We were told we had to get 2 inspections done ($250) in order for get coverage. The lady that quoted my insurance recommended a man that so happened to be her husband, so she and her husband came to inspect and she was also the one who submitted and approved the insurance for me. Not even 1 month after we signed our mortgage, State Farm calls and says they’re canceling our policy because we need a new roof and they won’t cover us. I talked to Keith Williams personally, asked him why we were approved in the first place if our home was uninsurable because we would not have bought the home if that were the case. He told me “they believed in good faith, underwriters would approve us so they gave us the policy. Well they did not and we were stuck without home owners insurance, during hurricane season until we could finally get a new roof. After the new roof is put on we have the proper inspections done and send it to them to reinstate and they say because of the lapse in coverage (caused by them) we are ineligible for insurance with State Farm. Worst experience, especially as a first time home buyer. We’re switching our auto insurance to, I don’t trust them with anything."

"Hurricane Michael was the first occasion in my 40 plus year history of having been a customer with State Farm to file a claim. Keith and all his staff went beyond their call of duty to assist me with the Claim Process. From the very first call until final resolution, I was treated with respect by all concerned at State Farm. I could not have been more satisfied with my claim process. Needless to say, none of Hurricane Michael's victims would wish such a difficult time on anyone, but with the 'Good Neighbor Policy' that Keith and all of State Farm exhibited, it made this trying time much more managable. Thank you Keith, your Staff, and State Farm."
